It's So Easy...

...a monkey could do it!

A monkey that is. Rosie helped me out with the mini-mite hat this weekend. Tonight I will piece and stuff Bronty.

I've also been working on a sock:

And the white pants made their debut (and swan song--Chunky ran to give me a jump-hug and I felt the crotch tear when I picked him up) today!

Chunky is second from the right.

Is it ever possible to get a good school performance picture? They all turned out super dark or super blurry. But I got some really cute video that I'm downloading to YouTube right now.

Maybe I'll post one of those tomorrow.

I have yet to get a good photo during a school performance. I make them stage something later when I can get close enough for a better pic. I do that for the grandparents.

I love the socks. I don't know what my problem is, but I just don't want to knit anything other than plain socks.

At least the crotch split after the performance and not before! And hey, you can tell people that your son loves you so much, he split his pants!

Wait, that sounds kinda creepy...

I'm glad to see everyone made it through the end of year pirate/rockstar extravaganza!

That sock looks great - very nice looking pattern and yarn.

I love the blue on the hat. At least the pants lasted for their purpose. And now the burning question.....what did you wind up doing for a rock star outfit??????!!!

Aw, very cute even though it's blurry. And...damn Bezzie! You always look so gosh darn young in all your pictures! Like under the legal drinking age young. Good for you. The sock progress looks great too.

Is that one of the slave monkeys you kept locked in your closet in Texas?

What sock pattern is that you're knitting? Looks great so far!

I'm one of the bad moms who doesn't even bring a camera to school performances. Isn't that awful?

You can resew the seam if you want to get a little more wear out of the pants.

What did you do about the rock star costume?

Great looking sock!

Don't feel bad, all my pics from various kid events usually are too dark and blurry also! Hehe...ripped the crotch huh! That was one heck of a hug for his Mom! :)

Nice looking sock!!

The heck with what the costumes looked like - I want to know what this graduation extravaganza was all about? Was it the Brokeback-Pirate-Rockstar Dance Drama Comedy we all thought it was going to be?

Ok - I do want to see all the costume changes.

There is nothing better than a run/jump/hug. They're the best.

I thought of you and the white pants this weekend. I caught a flag day parade and there was a HS marching band and every one of those poor souls were wearing white (POLYESTER) pants. aiaiai.

I could spot Chunky in a crowd and he looks good! He's the tallest in the show! What's a little split between family members?;)

He he, smart boy - maybe he was worried you'd make him wear them in public again.

I'm gonna have to come back to the video post. I'm away at a friend's place and don't have sound.
