Happy Fourth!

I really enjoyed the non-face-on pictures of la estatua de libertad I took in May.

It's one of the more patriotic pics in my library. Look how chunky she looks at that angle. Maybe there's some huddled masses underneath all of that drapery.

I'm don't really express myself in a rah-rah USA way.

I leave that to the monkeys. Sparkly star pants make my ass look fat.

Regardless, Happy Fourth of July!!

Cute picture! Happy fourth of July!
And, I think sparkly star pants would make almost anyone's ass look fat. The monkey looks good though!

Stars and Stripes 'clown pants' like Rex the 'sensei' wears in Napoleon Dynamite. "Take a look at what I'm wearing, people. You think anybody wants a roundhouse kick to the face while I'm wearing these bad boys? Forget about it. " Hehehe

That Chunky Monkey is looking good!

Happy Fourth!

How right, Weezie is!

I wish I could blame my sparkly star pants, but it's just my fat ass that makes my ass look fat...

Happy 4th of July!

I'd wear my 4th of July WOOL socks but it's going to be 100 today so maybe I'll wear my sparkly pants with matching halter.

Hehe, no sparkly pants for me either!! Have a great day, those steaks sound really good right now. Sigh, I'm having stuffed shells as my family hates them.

Happy Fourth!

I went to a picnic at a friends' house. All of the other moms, except me and my very best Mom friend (ToolMom :) were wearing their "patriotic" shirts. She and I watched from the sidelines commenting on our garb as they hammed it up in photos :). Guess that's why the two of us are "very best mom friends." We tend not to be part of the "in" crowd :).

I've often suspected that Lady Liberty is a Big Girl. I envy her the ability to pull off those robes. They look comfy.

I'm all for statues from unusual angles, I almost got kicked out of the Louvre for baring a bit of arse in mimicry of the Venus de Milo - couldn't get round the front for the other tourists.
