If you were lucky enough... read my now-deleted post, you will laugh at the timeliness of this!

And if you weren't lucky enough, the post had a diatribe that used knitting lace sweaters out of Thai noodles as an example.

Crochet and spaghetti are the next best things!

At least they had the decency to give public access to the photos ;)

We had linguine for dinner, but there were my kds plus two extra kids so knitting my pasta would probably have set a poor example.

I'm still going to try it one of these days.

And of course, there's that thread on Knittyboard about the merits of dumping one's blog for that Site That Must Not Be Named.

I'm knitting some pasta right now. I can't show you the pictures of my FO though. You wouldn't like it. :-)

I saw that post and gave serious thought to knitting some spaghetti. I think whole wheat would work best, and definitely al dente. But spaghetti strands aren't long and I suspect there'd be a lot of ends to weave in.

It's a true catch 22, no?

Poops - Think about the reverse gauge you'd have to try and figure out. SPI cooked and SPI dried out again. What I nightmare that would be. ;)

Of course I'm not lucky, but I do like the idea of playing with food.

I wonder were they going to eat it or keep going? Can you imagine "Pasta Granny Squares" in tomato sauce? Well there is "bowties"! Just some thoughts. Love, Mom

Read it--didn't think anything of it....can't figure out why it would put knickers in knots.

As for the noodle knitting....too many carbs.
