Alright, I'll Say It.

Most of the time he's cute.

But the eyeballs on Bob Dog--the official mascot of The Place That Shall Not Be Named--in this picture really freak me the eff out.

But then again, the other Bob Dog kind of frightened me too.

I wonder if he ever humped Mr. Rogers's leg?

Bob the dog is more than a little creepy. And the grocery thing? When my husband was out of work and cleaning machines in a pasta factory, I fed a family on 5 for 200 dollars every 2 weeks. That included all the paper products and personal items. I can shop for a bargain with the best of them. We were never hungry and didn't feel like we were deprived. And now with prices going up (I see it every week) I am back to squeezing every penny till Abe yelps.

His eyes look like they are waiting to run free.

You know what creeps me out more? How the Knitpicks lady takes her little dog everyplace she goes. I love dogs and all and sure sometimes it's cool to bring them on vacay. But to a painting class? Oy Vey.

His eyes remind me of cartoon eyes. I can easily see them rolling across the floor, ya know?

Hey, have you ever thought about joining a CSA/Farmshare? The downside is that they often cost $200 or so upfront. Hubby and I did the math, and it's a steal for fresh produce for at least 6 months.

The shares I've seen are HUGE too and you may be able to freeze some for winter.

I was just sitting here wondering if anyone ever humped--or was humped by--Mr. Rogers. I can't picture it, which is probably a good thing.

Seems like someone's been spending an awful lot of time at The Place That Shall Not Be Named lately. You know, for a non-joiner and all...

The little mascot with the bug eyes is cute, but when I was little I thought eyes like that were on the verge of falling out.

The other dog is a little creepy and I just can't go there about Mr. Rogers. But he had one puppet that really gave me the creeps - Lady Elaine.

Bob is a bit wall-eyed, but i'm sure he can't help it. better a dog than a person.

i like that his name is "Bob" but personally i think ravelry would've been a more appropriate place if there were a cat for a mascot. but that's probably b/c i'm an unapologetic cat person.

In general I love terriers and pugs, but sometimes those eyes do freak me out. I worked in an animal hospital for years and anytime I had to hold them on the exam table I worried that I would either pop their eyes out or collapse their trachea. aiaiai.

I will come right out and say it: I hate that mudderrucking mutt. I can't even go there when that Marty Feldman goiter case canine is on the front page.

So hate me Ravephiles, I can take it for the truth. ;)

I'm always afraid his eyes are going to pop right out -- and I guess I'm afraid they're going to somehow fall out through my computer screen! ;-)

ZMrK doesn't like when you see the whites of dogs' eyes like that. Me, I grew up with pugs, so I'm used to wall-eyes and asthmatic dogs that snore louder than I do.

OK, now I have to rescind my Bob hatred as they now have the most adorable pic up on the front page of the little shit.

Awwwww! >snicker<
