Zen and Spinning

Everyone was right--spinning is quite relaxing.

On my Monday off, I spun 4 ozs of a deep dark chocolate brown Romney that Bina sent me.

I set it outside to dry after wetting it a bit to set it.

And as you can see, Chunky likes to get his zen on on the hood of my car.

Nice yarn! I love the color. Chunky looks like a mini buddah in that pose. Isn't is awesome that its just warm enough for shorts?

The buddha pose Chunky is doing is supposed to be one that brings either good fortune or money. Can't remember which for sure, but either would be good, I'm sure...

Seriously, I want to just eat him up he is too cute!!! Or pinch his cheeks :) All things that would lead him to think I'm crazy, so I'd settle for a high five!

If that Zen pose starts bringing in the good fortune and money - I'll be sitting that way everyday at work. He's so cute. Has he tried spinning yet?

Everyone else is looking at the yarn, and I'm concentrating on your garden and all of the GREEN! Gorgeous!

Chunky the Zen Master! I hope Elizabeth is right. I'm sure you'd love a little dose of money ... and good fortune ... or both at the same time :).

Wow... Chunky's getting big! He's like not really a little boy anymore, he's full on kid-sized! Still a cutie though.

Cute picture of Chunky! And very nice spinning - it looks like you're getting better and better. Now you just have to keep the yarn away from the cat(cats?) so it won't get pounced on!
