Next Up

Shetland Shorty.

I dig it. But the pattern seems like a lot of fuss for a simple mesh-knit. I'm almost tempted to just do my K2tog/YO mesh knit that I used on My Own Personal Jesus Spider Bag. Same effect more or less.

Ah well, this will hopefully be a quick knit and I can move on to baby sweaters for impending related spawns.

I am seriously contemplating this pattern. Your yarn looks nice and shiny :0)

I love the color and the mesh part is a ncie touch - but if it too fussy to do; I'd go with the easier version.

I was going to say it looked shiny, too. I don't know anyone pregnant I would knit for right now but I am getting the urge to make a baby blanket.

Yeah, that mesh part isn't the most fun I've ever had. Which is why it's currently sitting in the WIP basket while I rock out to Seascape!

I'm maybe 2/3 of the way through a Shorty. I think the main feature of her pattern is that the double YO's make it extra-lacy. They are really big holes...whether that matters to you is another story. It was kind of annoying at first, but now I'm used to it and it's fine.
