So close...

Lily is blocking as I type!

Hopefully the 87% humidity won't prevent her from drying too slowly and I can show you the finished product tomorrow.

Not like I'm in a hurry to wear a long sleeved sweater right now.

But speaking of long sleeved sweater weather...

...my Younger Younger Brother informed me that although they didn't win the new set of tires in that photo contest I posted for y'all to vote for the above picture, they did win a digital photo frame.

So thank you to all who voted!!

Come January when my SIL (on the sled) pops out their baby making Crispy (pulling the sled) a big furry four legged sister, they'll have a nice frame to stick digital baby pictures in.

Which reminds me, I should get crackin' on some baby knitting.

January is still quite a ways off right?

The older I get, the faster the year seems to go...and that sounds like such a cliche, but man, too true.

Awww, that's too bad they didn't win the tires, but a digital photo frame is still cool. Hopefully the dog won't be too jealous of the new baby! My sister had her dog before she and her husband started dating, and now that they're married and living together, the dog gets jealous and tries to squeeze in whenever they hug or kiss, ha, ha!

I agree with Christina - better start now on the baby gifts!

It was something like 110 in my town today, that sweater would be all blocked out by now!

I can't wait to see the finished Lily! Yes, plenty of time between now and January but I always like to whip things out early..

Plenty of time. Lots and lots. I am such a poor judge of knitting time. I always underestimate the amount of time it will take me.

Did that cold front go through Jersey last night too, or just up here? It's a lot less humid today and much, much cooler.

If I had half a brain, I'd be blocking some stuff right now...

i always put a box fan next to whatever i'm blocking, especially when it's humid or really cold. it might take weeks to air dry and my knitting would probably get moldy in the process.

can't wait to see the sweater!

It took me a while to figure out where all the votes came from, I did try to vote twice but it would not let me.

Can't wait to see Lily.

January does come faster the older you get and you are not getting any younger!! Quote T "I Kid Kause I Kare!"
