Pimpin' and Presentin'

First up, check out a contest that Pam is sponsoring over at Crochet and Knit Giveaways to get feedback on her shop--Yarny Goodness. Just click here, read the rules, peruse Yarny Goodness, comment with your thoughts, and maybe pimp yourself in the process.

Yarny Goodness has a lot of the "hot ticket" yarny things out there you might have seen in the blogosphere--stuff like those cool tools by KaratStix that I know Turtlegirl, RosiG and others have displayed on their blog.

Check it out, the contest runs for 2 weeks and all you have to do is some window shopping and leaving constructive comments.

Ok, enough pimpin'--on to the presentin'!

I finished up another Christmas present. This time it's one of those Bezzie-Bottom Market Bags for my dear college roommate.

She's got a thing for panda bears and long story short, I call her my apple (and she calls me her llama). So we often buy each other apple or llama-themed birthday/xmas gifts.

When I saw this fabric on Etsy, I KNEW she needed a Bezzie-Bottom Market Bag.

Here it is all finished:

I decided to make two handles instead of one for this bag. I like the one handle on My Own Personal Jesus Spider bag, but it makes for loading stuff kind of cumbersome in opening the bag.

Two handles makes it easy to load even the most odd-shaped item.

Hee hee.

Hee hee It mustn't have bothered the cat too much. It was right there looking at it afterwards :) Thanks for the contest thing! I gave my 2 cents worth!

Poor kitty! Seriously, that fabric could not be more perfect given your description. I'm sure she'll love it.

How cute! I love the color, and how awesome that you found panda/apple print fabric!

Oh, the cat will be fine - some cats have a thing for bags anyway. Mine loves sleeping on top of my son and daughter's school bags when they're lying on the floor.

Poor cat. My cat loves my husband's backpack. He will lay on it and rub all over it. It's the weirdest thing. It's time for a new backpack and I feel bad for the cat. Will she transfer her love or will we have to keep the old bag for her?
