Oh! Oh! Oh!

Big surprise, but the American voters showed up yesterday to the party wearing their O-face.

I woke up not feeling any more changed or hopeful than I did yesterday.

However that's not to say that I'm excited to now dub him PE Oboner or possibly PE BO which is a more unifying cross-sexual experience. I've had BO after PE, but sadly never a boner after climbing the rope in gym class...

Thank god it's over. Hopefully we'll only have to listen to a week more of this shit, a little more in January and it will be back to crap as normal.

Not to mention no more politics on here! Hee hee! Don't worry, I've got some great blog fodder planned!!! Muhahahahahahahahaha!

You be as cranky and cynical as you want Bezzie.. you know I love you.

But man, I can't tell you how good it feels to have hope, and to feel like a part of history. It's so amazing. I'm so proud of my country right now.

I have to say I was excited to wake up this morning knowing that I wouldn't have to mute my TV during commercials so I didn't hear all about Tom Feeny screwing over his disable wife or hear about Reverend Wright.

Hey the voting curse is OFF!!! This is the first time that I have ever voted for a WINNER!!! Is this a GOOD omen or a BAD? Time will tell. And yes we knew that O won before our polls even closed!!! They are now trying to figure out the early voter count. If the early voter count comes in like the regular vote....AK is sending two crooks to DC and Palin may get to send herself to replace one of them!!!
Love, Mom

Our president elect will hopefully make Dr Mad Scientist's new career choice a better path. Teaching under a Bush administration was difficult and stressful. The US will also be more respected worldwide, and we need all the help we can get at this time.

I chose one of the independent candidates. I couldn't bring myself to vote for either major party. And I can't believe Lautenberg is going back to Washington. The man is almost 100 years old. No lines at our community center voting place. I was in and out in 5 minutes. No ID required but no sticker.

I am sick and tired of all the shiny happy hopefulness. ;-)

Seriously, I am done with the subject as well. I am out of the game with the other 56 million and change peeps who aren't so inclined to do the happy dance.

I meant to say that the US had two effing great choices, didn't we?

But I got to know, women would rather have an Oboner than McCrack any day of the week, right? ;p

Okay no more Oboner or McCrack jokes.

I am certainly glad the politics and campaigning are over! And I can't help it, I am so proud of America today and I got teary-eyed hearing him speak last night! So proud!

Did you see all the people falling all over themselves, dancing in the streets, and partying like it's 1999?

I thought Oprah was going to dry-hump him.

Gah. You'd think he was the Messiah or something. Kind of sickening, really.

Here's hoping he doesn't screw it up worse than it already is. I suppose it's all relative at this point...

(My word is "normst". Would've been a good middle name for Dave.)
