I grew up with The Cooky Book! I think that's where everyone should start...everything else is just too intimidating. Think I've baked every single cookie in that book...

Can't wait! I made brownies yesterday, but that's not the same as cookies. I love cookies! You can send me some if you end up with misshapen ones, you know. I'll happily take them off your hands.

It takes such will power not to stick those fruit stickers right on the backsplash of the sink...But being a renter...that just means more work when moving out.

Good luck with the baking extravaganza! The thing I love about it most? The apartment is so toasty warm afterwards...aahhh.

I can't wait to see your cookies! I have zero time but lots to do. Party with my small group Saturday night, open house at the Pastor's on Sunday and potluck at work Monday (Christmas around the world...making kolach/kolacky. take your pick) yum yum. and puppy chow/muddy buddies, of course.

Woohoo! We started with peppermint bark yesterday, and if we get the snow day predicted tomorrow, the kids and I are gonna do it up with pinwheel cookies, jam thumbprints and fudge.

You're a better woman than I am - I just think about baking tons of Christmas cookies every year, and imagine how nice it would be to give big plates to neighbors and co-workers...
