Long Time...

...no blog.

Dr. Mad Scientist bought a new computer game (with gift certificates given to him) so he's been hogging the computer when he's not changing diapers or running off to class.

And when he's not home I've been trying to maximize my Moochietime or I'm just too damn exhausted to blog.

But it's getting better.

I took back laundry duty from Dr. Mad Scientist now that I can carry three loads laundry around without ripping anything open (never mind that seven days before Moochie was born I was still hauling laundry!). Plus we've got supplies for if Moochie gets hungry without me around now. (It didn't happen--I timed the trip to the laundromat just right between his feedings).

But where am I going with this mundane anecdote?

I needed a small knitted laundry project.

Hee hee! More on what these will be later.

I'll leave you with some cute pictures of the Mooch--all taken by Dr. Mad Scientist. He wanted proper photo credit on these (insert eye rolling here).

The seven-year-age difference twins.

I also caught up with cleaning the dishes baby this weekend. This is actually his first "real" bath. I sponge bathed him and Chunky til they were both about 2 months old and had solid head control. That, and I'm lazy.

Can you believe Moochie is almost nearly one Springs length already?!

That is a great picture. Dr. MS deserves photo credit. Going back to work must be exhausting for you. I loved bath time. I used a giant sponge and laid the babies in the tub. They liked it and so did I. I don't even know if they make the sponges any more.

Adorable picture of the boys!

Giving Molly a bath is my least favorite thing to do. I'm hoping it will be better when she can have a real bath.

They do look like twins. Aww, I remember the days of baths in the sink. So cute!

I'm glad things are getting back into a routine for you. I did laundry today too and the one plus of the laundromat over a home machine is 2 hours of crfting time.

Wow, Chunky and Moochie really do look a lot alike! I don't think my kids look much alike at all. They got very different facial features, and my son has more loosely curled hair, and is lighter than my daughter.

I loved giving my kids bath when they were babies too - nothing like the smell of a freshly bathed baby!

And that's a patient cat to let you put the baby right next to her like that. My cat runs off the minute she sees my kids coming, ha, ha!

Okay, if the little moochie gets any cuter, I will not be able to resist pinching his little cheeks...crap, I'm going do it now! **Pinch, pinch**

He and Chunky are so cute together. Yep, they look like brothers!

Love the baby-in-the-sink bath :). Too funny!

But, ugh! Why'd you take back laundry duty? I wish I could give it away ... of course, my husband does the dishes, and so I guess I can't complain ... too much :).

Your boys do look amazingly a lot! And the Mooch/Springs picture is great -- not just that they're the same size, but that Springs would put up with a baby right there! Neither of mine would, I'm sure...

Hmmm... where to start....

-glad you're adjusting well to being back at work,
-sorry to hear you're still buried in laundry,
-good to see Dad having a good time with the boys,
-They really do like alike!
-cookies look great (as usual),
-and whatever happened to "I'm not gonna become one of those knit-bloggers that spits out a kid and goes all baby picture crazy? You... are baby picture crazy. Just in case you hadn't noticed.

PS... just kidding about the baby pictures... he's so stink'in cute I can't stand it.

I LOVE that pic of Chunky and Mooch. Look how mature Chunky is getting!! GAH! *sniff*

Wow, Max got his first bath when he was still a newborn in the hospital. Yikes. Once he came home, he got a tub bath when he was about two weeks old. He loved it...must be the Aquarian in him.
