I've let nearly a week go by without blogging.

Youngest Younger Sister was in town visiting.

She left today. Chunky was heartbroken. He waited to get home from the airport before he cried.

Taken a few hours before she left--you can tell Chunky's not in 100% good spirits!

We had a good time! We meandered around New Jersey, took in the NJ Garden and Flower Show, took her to do a quick and dirty visit of NYC, and even took her grocery shopping--woo!

It was a great way to spend my last week of maternity leave--Tuesday it's back to work!

And for all y'all who are going to say: "Your sister looks just like you!"

Not really. Check out the picture from the LAST time she visited us!

Only you would be giving your baby boy bunny ears. I love it.

And yeah, she looks less like you now than she did, but you've TOTALLY got the same smile.

You beat me to it - I was just going to say that your sister looks just like you, LOL!

I have 5 brothers and sisters and none of us look alike (well, one is adopted, so that doesn't count). The oldest two (twins) have black hair, my second oldest brother has brown, I have red (OK - it's dyed now, but it was naturally red when I was a kid) and my youngest sister is blonde. We all have the same mom and dad, so I always think it's funny how different we all came out.

You and your sister could pass for twins in that older picture!

And poor Chunky! My kids are like that with my youngest sister, too.

P.S. How do you stay so thin when you're always baking cookies?! And just having had a baby too? I must say I'm jealous! : )

End of the leave already? That time flew by. I'm glad your sister's visit was a good one. Sounds like Grandmom is coming for a visit soon so Chunky will have something to look forward to.

I want to see more pictures! Haha! It looks like y'all had a good time. Did you take your youngest younger sister to IHOP before dropping her off at that airport?

You can tell you are from the same gene puddle (as your Uncle Joe would say). Glad you had a good time with your sis. Sounds like you're getting ready for another big visit.
I agree with T, more pictures.
Love, Aunt Susan

Family visits are perfect reasons not to be're supposed to be too busy enjoying their company to share with the world!

When my nephew and parents dropped me off at the airport he kept telling them the entire ride home that they had to go back and get me! How dare they abandon me (he's three).

And it's always hard to say goodbye...I was kinda glad they left before I started crying...

Poor Chunky! And you and your sister definitely have the same smile and coloring. (And was that last picture, the old one, taken in the SA airport? Or maybe it's just 'generic airport' and it only looks like SA to me because I'm homesick.)

Looks like Moochie loved his Auntie too. Don't worry Chunky, an Aunt is forever. Have fun back at the grind.

Aww, poor chunky. I always hate when my family gets together and then we all have to leave. As much as we can sometimes get really annoyed by each other, it's always hard to say goodbye. Chunky is better than me. He can at least wait until he gets home to cry!

I love that last picture with Chunky in the middle. The way his hands are he is keeping you both close.

It sucks that visits have to come to an end....I am glad you had a nice week.
