Another Dark Day

It's another dark day for Alaskans.

First, Ted Stevens had the charges against him dropped.

I truly am starting to buy into my Old Man's theory that lizards control the government.

I can understand why they're dropping the charges, but wow. Simply freaking wow.

Finally, I blame this:
sarah-palin

For this.

Chunky got a good laugh about the look of horror on my face when I saw this commercial come on TV.

You have to love a product that starts with "Gently teasing" your hair and ends with "Firmly spraying" it!

Oh.My.Gawd. I thought the same exact thing when I saw that commercial... her... and that scary Amy Winehouse.

I'm not really sure which one is scarier, though.

Too funny! And I agree with MarieGrace about Amy Winehouse. I think she's running neck and neck with Michael Jackson with the scare factor, ha, ha!

What's up with commercials for products for big hair? Are the eighties coming back or something?I saw this group of teenagers waiting at a bus stop today, and some of the stuff the girls were wearing looked like it came straight from the 80's/early 90's - bright pink, super straight legged jeans, high top tennis shoes (or athetic shoes - folks in Cleveland still call them tennis shoes), leggings and knee length tops. The stuff was ugly back then - why bring it back??!

Oh, my gawd!

Well, that's just what we need, right? To take our minds off the economy ... big hair! That should do it. I feel so much better.

There is quite a bit of truth in what Davi Icke writes.

And while I like Sarah Palin and I really do like her hair, the product is strange, and no doubt it was inspired by Palin.

I know people who have those. LOL!
My son is obsessed with infomercials and one day while putting my hair in a ponytail, he starts telling me that I could buy bumpits and all the things that you can do with them. LOL!

We saw thase ads on tv and my husband wanted to know why the 60's were coming back. And then he added, "didn't the designers you watched the other day do a lot of 80's throwback stuff? So which is it, 60's or 80's?" I laughed until I cried...
