Great American

This week's cookie of the week is an old standby.

The "Great American Peanut Butter Blossom." I've always just called the peanut butter blossoms or peanut butter kiss cookies, but the back of the Hershey Kiss bag has dubbed them "Great American."

Artsy fartsy cookie shot.

I guess that's cool. I've heard other countries aren't really big into the peanut butter/chocolate flavor combination. Or maybe I misheard that. Or maybe they are, but they're all closet PB&C lovers...

Yum!

Shouldn't you be artfully posing those cookies next to a coffee mug? ;)

And now that Hershey's--bless their sweet hearts--has come up with all sorts of varieties of Kiss, the possibilities absolutely boggle the mind.

I've got to say, these look like they could be on the cover of a glossy magazine somewhere!

I'll own up to not being a PB&C fan. Love them on their own but put them together and I run for the hills. (I have been told this is very un-American of me)

I'm a huge pb&c fan. I like to take a spoon of pb and put chips in it. I don't need all those other ingredients.

I am not really a peanut butter fan, but pb&j cookies are a 'nother story!

Peanut butter and chocolate is the best! I have no patience for cookie-making though, unless it involves premade dough, ha, ha! Yes, I'm lazy!
