Milestones

It's like just yesterday my Chunkalunk was starting first grade.

And yesterday was his last day of it.

Like my crappy last day of school car shot?

You should see the stack of homework he's got to turn into his second grade teacher the first day of school. Holy shit. They might as well just make school year-round.

Today also marks Mr. Mooch's six month birthday.

What the hell?

What happened to my baby boys?!!?!?!?!

They don't stay young for long, that's for sure. I swear it was yesterday that my (now 25 yr old) daughter was going to kindergarten.

My 25 Favorite socks by IK press was all messed up. Fortunately it has a spiral binding and I could take it apart and put the pages in order. No pride in manufacturing.

Congrats on Chunky finishing first grade! Pip's last day of third grade is today. She's graduating from a Brownie to a Junior in Girl Scout. Goodness, I'm getting old!

Who ate your babies?!

I can't believe Moochie's been here for 6 months already. Wow.

I constantly look at Bug, who is currently at her last day of third grade and wonder when she got so stinking big. It goes too fast!

Everything that I hear is...."Once one starts school they ALL start school and once one grows up they ALL grow up!!!"
With having six in ten years and the last one just turned 21, I have to agree!!!

Congrats Chunky! What a great accomplishment - because everything we need to know we really do learn in first grade!

And Moochie - 6 months already! seems like just yesterday you outted yourself as having birthed that baby, Bezzie!

All your little men are growing up.

Way to go Chunky! Before you know it Moochie will be starting school. It seems like yesterday when Sean started kindergarten(I was very PG with Sam!). Sean just turned 25 will have his PhD soon, hopefully(my son the Dr.). Sam will be 20 in Sept., and Erin just turned 13(I know the spacing isn't the greatest). Enjoy the moments with them. Happy six month-i-versary to Mooch, and happy last day of school for the Chunkster. Unbelievable how fast it goes.

And I can tell you, too. My "baby" boy will be twenty-three in four days, and his "little" sister has a two year old daughter ;). Of course, his "baby" sister just turned six, so I guess I still have some time with my "little" ones :).

I can't believe they give school work in the summer. It kind of takes something away from the whole "vacation" thing.

Wow, kids get out of school late there in the northeast! My kids' last day of school was June 5th. Once they start school, time just flies by!

Every year, the time goes faster, too. I look at Owen now, a young man with a deep voice who is taller than me and approaching 6' and I just marvel!

In a blink of an eye, you'll turn around and Chunky will be talking about getting his driver's license. Scary!

I'm so glad we don't get summer homework. That would make me very mad.
