Happy Halloween!

I love Halloween.

Not so much for the candy or headache of having to come up with costumes for the boys (I'll post those later--I can't post tonight after trick or treating--it's laundry night!).

I love it because it's the "gateway holiday."

When you're a Bez, you party at the end of the year!

On tap in the next two months we have:

Thanksgiving
Chunky's Birthday
Moochie's Birthday
Christmas
Our Anniversary
New Year's

Happy Halloween!!!

Thus ends Blogtober or whatever it was called--I did it! 31 posts! Woot! And holy cow! Today is the FOUR year anniversary of my blog! Yikes that's a lot of yapping!

I like Hallowe'en for that reason, too. I like putting up the decorations because when the pumpkins and leaves come down, the Christmas stuff goes up.

And I'm glad I made it to the end of the month. 31 days in a row was hard. I'm just not that interesting!

HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY!!!!!!!!!!!!
and Happy Halloween! I hope the boys have a blast.
I remember (and I can see you loving this!) that my mom would wait a couple of days after Halloween and take all of the chocolate candy that wasn't consumed and chop it up and make cookies. Those were the best cookies b/c you NEVER knew what you would get when you bit in!

Also, you forgot my birthday, but I'm not that mad. I didn't realize you were blogging every day as part of a thing. It has been kind of hard keeping up with you!

Happy Halloween, Happy Partying, and Happy Blogiversary! Nicely done on the Blogtober. I'm really not that interesting, so I'm glad I missed the boat on that. Your pumpkins are looking good!

Happy blogiversary! I always enjoy reading your blog!

I have to admit that I dread this time of year. I dread the thought of the cold and snow coming. I get seriously depressed in the winter. I even hated playing in the snow when I was a kid, and I've always hated having a December birthday. The older I get, the more I hate the cold and snow. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if the winters didn't last so long here in Ohio, but it seems like the winter gets longer and longer every year.

Well, I guess that's enough griping for now. I hope the boys have great birthdays, and you have a great anniversary! I always think it's interesting when some women have all of their kids around the same time of year. My kids both have late January birthdays, the 20th and the 29th, and when I got pregnant a third time, in 2007 (had a miscarriage), I was due in early Feburary. One of my older sisters has two kids born in April, and one in May. I really think a lot of women must just have a particular time of the year where they're most fertile.

Oops, that should have said "February"! That's what I get for staying up too late reading blogs!

Nice pumpkins! I'm no good at carving -- I tend to accidentally lop off teeth when the knife sticks, then unsticks.
