It's A....

Finished pattern!

I give you The Jovie the Elf Knock Off Hat!!!

Let me know if you can't see it. The other half is getting this schnit on the internets to show up right so everyone can see it!

ETA: This pattern has NOT been test knit. Proceed at your own risk. It's free. Whattya gonna do?

ETA (1/14): Ok, I updated the gauge information. I didn't stretch the K1, P1 ribbing when I measured the gauge. Oops.

Oh awsome elf knock off hat! Great pattern. Thank you so much! I'll have to try to remember this until november, when it is time to knit holiday hats again.

Cute! I would totally knit it were it not for the fact that the average temperature in Texass is only slightly lower than that of Hell in winter.

You are an absolute star - thank you so much for writing this up - definitely saved for future knitting. I may just save it for the middle of summer, by which time it wil be ready for wearing whilst singing very loudly (and eating maple syrup, of course!). Thanks x

Wooohooo! Thank you so much! Do you think it would look good in a crazy variegated yarn?

During college vacations, my dad always met us at the airport wearing a blue bobble hat. Now he's passed away and my brother and sister and I are meeting our kids from airports. I want to make them blue bobble hats for Christmas but haven't knitted since 1st grade (do the maths). I need easy cable with a bobble on the top. Next year I'll do sweaters. Can you help please. I didn't even begin to understand the elf pattern but I love it. I also thing that my daughter
would love knotting as a de-stress hobby, so we could learn together.

I just made this hat. It was so much attention to knit, I can't even imagine how much it took for you to come up with it and then write it all down for us! Thanks so much for sharing this with us! You are one generous knitter.

I've searched for this for years! You've done a beautiful job! I can't view the pattern, and I can't figure out why.
Thanks! Mickey

I'm not sure if you have removed the pattern or what but I cannot access it. Nice pattern though, I just watched the movie today and thought that her hat was nice, and then I happen to stumble upon this pattern and I figure this is the next thing I should do. Anyways I really hope I can actually see the pattern soon.

I also am not able to get the pattern. When I click on the link I get a "loading" message, but no matter how long I wait, it never changes. Any suggestions for me to be able to get this pattern? I would love to make the hat.

(Great sigh) Ok, I'm getting ready to knit this hat for the THIRD time. If my grandchildren would quit taking the hats, I'd still have the first one I made. I'm gonna tie a string onto this one so I can keep track of it. BTW, I only watched part of the movie and never saw the hat. Didn't like the movie, but love the hat.
