Radio Silence
Sorry about the recent radio silence!
I went back to work and then eight days later, Grandma and Grandpa Mad Scientist and one of our nephews flew down to visit. (Grandma MS likes to bring one Alaskan grandkid down with her each time she visits).
It was a great trip, and incredibly busy--thus between this and work, not a peep round these here parts!
The days were just packed.
There was the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island.
A daytrip to NYC...
To the Empire State Building...
Grand Central Station...
Toys R'Us (Where Moochie and Grandpa rode the ferris wheel -- the Mr. Potato Head car)...
Fireworks and a picnic waiting for the same...
A visit to the Bronx Zoo...
And in between there were plenty of other things...
Snuggling with Grandma...
Snuggling with Grandpa...
Hanging with the Cuz...
Napping...
Going out to dinner...
There was also a Yankee game and a trip to the Jersey shore in there too--but because I didn't get to go not many pictures were taken.
Overall, it was a great trip and I know we had a ton of fun! We'll miss Grandma and Grandpa Mad Scientist and The Cuz!
Next time we meet, hopefully it will be Alaska!
Apologies in advance--tomorrow we're off for a sisterly weekend. It's been thirteen years since my sisters and I have been in the same room together at the same time. That's about to change if only for a day!

Thirteen years?! That must be some sort of record, and not in a good way. Family time is awesome, and I think that those of us who don't get as much, or as often, tend to appreciate it more :-) Enjoy your sisters weekend!

What a fun week (and busy) week you all had! Living near NYC means there's always something to see when people come to visit. (and it looks like Grandpa is a champion snuggler)
Wow, I can't believe you fit so much in, in so little time and still work! Go you! Loks like you guys had an awesome time! Also, seems like your cats aren't picky about snuggling with an unsuspecting napper.
